BAY 9 Serviced Offices

Utilising the large redundunt maintenace sheds under the Sydney Harbour Bridge North Shore Railiway Line, we designed a structural solution to create a building within the heritage fabric that didnt touch the walls or roof and only barely touched the ground. A building within a building.

The design and structure is a BONEYARD of old shipping containers, even the lift is in a re-purposed old shipping container...It was fun getting that in the building...

Low impact 

Each level is industrial themed, raw, and has a collection of high speed internet serviced commercial grade offices, specifically researched and designed to optimise the space and allow 1-4 peolpe per 'module' to work efficiently. We worked on numerous proto-type office module sizes to arrive at a series of workable options.

There are generous break-out meeting and retreat spaces, and nooks to make a mobile phone. 

This project was such a success that the concept has spread across three extra bays and is interconnected to the original Bay 10 Expresso project next door.
